Each tale tells the story of how various African animals came to be the way they are. Tiger Aspect Productions (producers of Charlie and Lola) have created the first-ever fully equipped animation studio in Nairobi, Kenya, where Tinga Tinga Tales is being produced using local designers, writers and animators.

A dream over sandpaper. Modern fairy tale. New play by Idan Silberstein. What is the value of a little girl's life? A young man lives in a cellar with a rat and corresponds with Marilyn Monroe. A woman sales her little girl. She's putting herself into plastic surgeries so she can be in a beauty pageant. The little girl is turning into inelegant, attractive women in the house of a children's trader. The trader takes a young assistant who wants to be a trader also, to help him with his financials problems. And money, lots of money that passes from one to another. In this struggle there's no place for love, time goes faster and faster and crumbles like the rest. Aging is comparable to death, the looks are lost. The rules are changing in front of us in a way that we cannot track. What's left is to try and grab a flake. This flake is the alternative that the play offers in the end. Human simplicity, survival and basic human gestured. A sad, funny, furrios, emotional and stimulated tale about the modern life.

Kevin McHale One Shot I widen out my arms, closing them around her. She fought me, punching my back, and taking a rip at my dirty clothes. I still held on, squeezing her tighter, not letting go. She was wailing, pushing at my shoulders with strong force. "You, idiot!" she blew a slap to my face, "you left me!" I felt my body shaking, sniffles jumping into the mix. I pulled her closer to me, peering straight into her eyes to say, "I left, knowing that I was gonna come back to you!" Her violence suddenly terminated, she shut herself down and wept. I gave myself permission to join her. Together we let our tears stream down her cheeks the effect from the past. She leaned her head against my shoulder. "You were my only friend, who understood. Who helped. Who made Eli laugh." she stated, poking at the tiny white flower that rose from its roots. "And when you left without telling me, I crouched to the dark corner, like I was alone." I smoothed her hair, kissing the top. She smiled, closing her eyes. The night sky was powering whatever was above their heads. The stars dancing around the beautifully lit moon. I never wanted to leave her, but I was obligated to do so. I had no choice, I didn't want her to think I was just the guy who gave her a laugh and hug instead of buying what she required.
